Mentorship

What is the Midday Referral Group Mentorship Program?
The purpose of the BNI mentoring program is to provide all members with a “Coaching Experience” that result in success within our chapter. We want to provide each member with support and information that might otherwise take months to acquire.

Mentorship I
This is a four week course that will kick start the BNI experience and support upcoming assigned mentoring relationships. It is our goal to equip each member with resources, feedback, and tools to ensure the networking journey is successful right from the start. Attendance and homework completion is required for graduation from this program.

Class Schedule

  • Date: 4 consecutive Wednesdays (as outlined to each new member)
  • Time: 9:30 – 10:30 AM – Class will begin promptly each week!
  • Location:  Crow Canyon Country Club

This is a core skill based course curriculum that builds upon each week so attendance it critical. Call Candace directly at 925-388-6525 if you have a scheduling conflict that needs to be addressed separately.

Mentorship II Advanced
This is a two week course that will continue to enhance your BNI experience and support strategic thinking around your networking experience. BNI basics will be reviewed to strengthen fundamentals with a twist in the second class to challenge even the most seasoned professional. In class sessions will be followed up by a conference call and a blog for additional accountability, feedback, and support around this experience.

The wait is over!! The first Mentorship II Advanced class will begin 4/27 and registration is open and in full swing!!!

  • Time: 9:30 – 10:30 AM – Class will begin promptly each week!
  • Location:  Crow Canyon Country Club

Role of the Mentor Coordinator
The Mentor Coordinator role is to assist current members of the chapter who may be in need of additional coaching and to enable new members to benefit from their members as quickly as possible. Duties include responsibility for the selection of chapter Mentors and assigning Mentees as well as supporting those relationships as the need arises. This role is selected by the President and will serve the same amount of time as the term of the Leadership Team.

How Do I Become a Mentor?
Contact Candace Medina to volunteer to be a Mentor for new members. This is a 3-5 month commitment to the member and the chapter. Step by step Mentor Guidelines and resource tools will be provided so you understand the expectation of this role to your Mentee. Participation is this program will be a valuable experience for Mentor and Mentee that will deepen and strengthen relationships within our chapter.
